Carson Penner
Chiropractor
Carson was born and raised in Alberta, Canada, where he grew up alongside his two brothers enjoying an active outdoor lifestyle. Snowboarding, hunting, fishing, and playing soccer filled much of his time and helped shape a deep appreciation for movement, resilience, and the human body. That curiosity eventually led him to New Zealand, where he pursued his chiropractic education and began a journey focused on understanding how the body can be supported to express real, total health.
Having grown up receiving regular chiropractic care, chiropractic always felt like a familiar and trusted space for Carson. As his understanding of health deepened, it became clear that this was the profession through which he could best serve others. Chiropractic has benefitted him throughout his life and he believes it plays a vital role in restoring balance and calm within the body, creating the foundation for people to be present and fully engaged in their lives.
When people come into Proactive, Carson wants them to feel heard, empowered, and hopeful. His goal is for people to experience a level of health they may never have thought possible, opening the door to purpose, adventure, and wellbeing in their everyday lives. For Carson, being well means supporting the body’s innate intelligence, building healthy habits, and giving the body the platform it needs to live a long and healthy life.
Outside of the practice and work, Carson enjoys running, reading, fishing, hunting, and playing soccer. Running allows him to challenge and improve his physical health, while reading helps him continually sharpen his thinking and understanding. Soccer remains his greatest sporting passion, bringing joy, community, and connection into his life.
