Emma Johnson
Chiropractor
Emma grew up in Hawkes Bay and had a pretty active childhood; playing netball, doing surf lifesaving and did ballet for 12 years. Following high school she moved to Auckland to begin studying chiropractic care at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic and hasn’t looked back.
After completing her studies she moved to the Gold Coast where she practiced for a couple of years. During this time she has expanded her chiropractic knowledge and toolkit by attending seminars on paediatrics, women’s health, pregnancy, TMJ dysfunction and more. Emma has experienced the benefits of chiropractic care herself since she was 3 weeks old, with regular wellness checks and extra visits before big exams, ballet recitals or netball games. Her mum took her to a chiropractor because she saw such great results with Emma’s older brother who was struggling with plagiocephaly, colic and issues sleeping when he was a baby.
Emma wants anyone coming through our doors to feel a part of our Proactive community, one which encourages them to strive for things they didn’t think possible and who cheers them on every step of the way. Outside of work Emma loves going to the gym, heading down to the beach, making and eating yummy food, and spending time with her family.
